Description
Wellington is an older established black currant with robust growth and reliable production. The medium to large berries ripen from the middle of July into early August and are described as sweet and juicy.
The fruit is used fresh and for jam, jelly, or wine. Compared with Ben Lomond, Wellington is slightly larger, more spreading, and later ripening.
