Description
Red Wonder is a cold hardy apple with dark red skin and distinctive dark red flesh. The crisp fruit balances tart and sweet flavours with a mild spicy note. Its colour and flavour suit fresh eating, baking, and naturally red cider.
Fruit averages 6 to 7 cm (about 2 1/2 inches) across and keeps for about one month in cold storage. The tree also has dark foliage with a silvery cast.
