Description
American Mountain Ash (Sorbus americana) is a small tree native to northeastern North America. Clusters of bright red fruit ripen in late summer, can persist into winter, and provide food for birds and other wildlife.
The compound leaves turn red or orange in fall. Trees occur naturally in cool forests and along streambanks.
