Ronde de Nice is a French round zucchini from the markets of Nice, producing pale green, speckled fruits with tender skin and a beautiful globe shape. Picked small, the squash are mild, nutty, and delicate, with a look that makes even a simple harvest basket feel thoughtfully arranged.
The round fruits are famous for stuffing, but they also grill, roast, sauté, and slice beautifully. Harvest at about 3–4 inches for the best texture, and keep picking to encourage more. This is summer squash with old-world shape and everyday kitchen sense.
