Description
Purple Gooseberry seed was collected locally from an old unidentified garden variety, probably Ribes uva-crispa or a European gooseberry hybrid. The fruit turns from green to purple as it ripens.
Seedlings will vary and will not be copies of the parent, but some should produce similar purple fruit.
