Principe Borghese is an Italian tomato with small oval red fruit weighing about 1 to 2 oz. The dense, meaty flesh has few seeds, low water content, and an intense tangy flavour.
The fruit is traditionally valued for drying and is also suited to preserving and concentrated sauces. Plants produce heavy crops.
