Description
Northern Gooseberry (Ribes hirtellum) is a native species with translucent green fruit and sweet tart flavour. Its stems are mostly smooth, with only a few thorns at the nodes.
This prairie adapted gooseberry also provides habitat value for local pollinators and wildlife.
