Description
Multicolour Assorted Sunflower is a nursery grown mix of three or four tall, branching sunflower varieties in shades of yellow and red. The varieties crossed freely, so each packet contains a variable mixed population. About one flower in ten in the parent crop showed some red colour.
Plants reached 6 to 8 ft (about 2 m) and carried several flower heads, sometimes more than five. The late flowers feed pollinators, and mature seed attracts birds.
