Description
Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) is an aromatic perennial in the mint family. Its leaves have a minty, slightly bitter flavour with citrus notes and are used in teas, soups, stews, and salads. It also has a long history in traditional herbal preparations.
Spikes of purple blue flowers attract bees and butterflies. Established plants tolerate dry conditions.
