Description
Green Gage is a classic European dessert plum with oval yellow green fruit and rich, sweet, juicy amber flesh. The fruit is firmer than many plums and stores and transports relatively well. The cultivar group reached England from France around 1724 through Sir William Gage, whose name became the English name Green Gage.
