Description
Goodland is a Manitoba apple selected at the Morden Research Station in 1925 and named in 1955. It is a seedling of Patten Greening.
The large apples reach about 3 inches across and have light green skin with up to half the surface covered by a red blush. The fine textured flesh is sweet with mild acidity, browns slowly after cutting, and is good for fresh eating. Fruit ripens from late September into early October and stores well.
