Description
Costoluto Genovese is an old Italian ribbed tomato with intense, tangy flavor and high gel content—ideal for slow simmered sauces and fresh slicing with olive oil. Fruits average 6–8 oz and look like little red pumpkins.
Originating around Genoa, it’s long been loved for cooking depth. Use the fruit fresh, roasted, sauced, canned, or eaten warm from the vine, depending on the variety.
