Description
Caragana, or Siberian Peashrub (Caragana arborescens), is a large cold hardy shrub commonly used for hedges and shelterbelts. It has small leaves and yellow pea shaped flowers and responds well to pruning.
Caragana fixes nitrogen. Its dense branches provide wildlife cover, and birds and other animals use the seeds.
