Description
Blue Elderberry (Sambucus caerulea) is a North American shrub with blue black berries used by birds and other wildlife. Creamy white flower clusters open before the fruit develops.
This seed came from British Columbia through a seed trade. Blue Elderberry is hardy only to Zone 5, about −29°C, and is not suited to the colder conditions tolerated by prairie elderberries.
