Latin name – Callicarpa americana
Beauty Berry is a small, sprawling shrub native to pine scrub in Florida. Its flowers attract pollinators and has stunning bright purple berries that are a favorite to birds and that can be used to make an edible, floral jelly. The leaves can be used to make insect repellant. This plant is a must have for the birds in the food forest.
