Simply squeeze the side tabs and the bottom comes off easy. This Quick-Clean technology allows the feeder to be cleaned thoroughly. Other improvements to this feeder include soft plastic covers for the two hex shaped perches. These covers allow the birds to grip the perch with ease, encouraging longer feeder visits. To improve seed flow, the seed ports have been redesigned with raised ridges which also help divert rain water. The seed deflector enables birds to reach most seeds.
