These quince type shrub seedlings were grown from fruit collected in eastern Canada. The parent had a shrubby habit and fruit slightly smaller than common quince.
Seedlings may vary in growth, flowers, and fruit. The original record does not resolve whether the parent was Cydonia or Chaenomeles.
