Description
Wild Thyme (Thymus praecox), also called Mother of Thyme, is a low growing perennial with small aromatic leaves used as a culinary herb.
Plants form a dense spreading mat with pink to lavender flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Wild Thyme tolerates drought once established and can be used between stepping stones or in rock gardens.
