Description
Wild Basil (Clinopodium vulgare) is an aromatic perennial native across Europe and parts of Asia. Its edible leaves have a fragrance between mint and marjoram and can be used as a culinary herb.
Dense clusters of small purple flowers attract pollinators. Wild Basil grows in sun or light shade and can spread aggressively where conditions suit it.
