Description
Sunrise is an early season apple developed at the Summerland Research Station in British Columbia. Its medium to large apples have pale yellow skin covered with bright red stripes and crisp, juicy cream coloured flesh with a refreshing summer flavour.
The recorded parentage combines McIntosh and Golden Delicious ancestry with the Purdue selection PCF 3 120. Sunrise was first grown in 1994.
