Much easier to use and safer for the environment than noisy, smelly gas-powered blowers, this Smith VC3 Localized Misting Nozzle is the perfect accessory for backpack sprayers to apply mosquito, insect, and disease-control products with a fine mist. The nozzle features a 50+ micron droplet mist output that creates a vortex plume that wraps the chemical solution onto the backside of leaves, which is where mosquitoes harbor and fungus starts. A nozzle cluster creates a 6-8′ droplet plume for superior localized mosquito and fungus control.
Smith VC3 Localized Misting Nozzle Kit includes the following parts:
- 1 x Nozzle to Wand Manifold
- 3 x TeeJet TXVK-3 ConeJet Misting Nozzles
- 3 x Nozzle Adapters with Viton O-Rings
- 3 x Cap Nuts
- 4 x Viton Gaskets
The Viton seals have been field tested for maximum compatibility and are chemically-resistant to modern aggressive formulations.
The Smith VC3 Localized Misting Nozzle is optimized for use with FLOIQ Sprayers (40-90 psi pressure range), but can also be used with some manual backpack sprayers. Fits the following backpack sprayers:
