Propetalum La Jolla Delight: This intergeneric hybrid has received an Award of Merit (AM) from the American Orchid Society (AOS). A Propetalum orchid is a hybrid genus created by crossing two different orchid genera: Promenaea and Zygopetalum.
The cultural requirements for Propetalum orchids are similar to those of Zygopetalum:
Care: They are generally considered easier to grow than some other orchid types, making them suitable for both experienced growers and beginners.
Environment: These orchids prefer conditions that mimic their parent genera’s natural habitats.
