Description
Pineapple Weed (Matricaria discoidea), also called Wild Chamomile, is a low growing herb with edible leaves and flowers traditionally used fresh or dried for tea. Crushed foliage and flowers release a strong pineapple like scent.
Native to northeastern Asia and now naturalized across North America, it tolerates compacted, dry, and disturbed ground and reseeds readily.
