Description
The pineapple flower, also known as Cephalaphlora Aromatica ‘Pineapples,” is a darling and fascinating plant with perfect little golden globes, reaching 18 inches tall. When brushed against, the plant releases a wonderfully sweet aroma of apples and pineapple.
This is one of those, “I have got to grow this and see if for myself,” type plants. I did. Super cool.
These grow quickly and are typically grown as annuals but they are actually perennials in zones 9+. So they are half hardy annuals or tender perennials.
