Latin name – Abutilon sp.
The Parlor Maple Tree is an attractive tropical flowering plant native to South America. It has eye catching lantern shaped buds that open into round cup shaped flowers that attract pollinators and hummingbirds. It is often grown as a houseplant in northern parts of the United States, but we in South Florida are fortunate enough to be able to grow it outdoors and allow it to reach its full potential.
Plant in rich soil in full to partial sun and watch it bloom continuously throughout the year.
