Description
New England Aster (Symphyotrichum novae angliae) is a North American perennial that flowers late in the season. Pink, purple, or violet daisy like flowers provide nectar for bees and butterflies after many other plants have finished blooming.
Its tall stems suit meadow plantings, naturalized areas, and the back of a perennial border.
