Description
Mountain Maple (Acer spicatum) is a hardy understory maple native to eastern Canada. It forms a multi stemmed small tree or shrub with three lobed leaves and vivid red orange fall colour. Its compact form suits woodland edges and naturalized plantings.
Scarification can improve germination.
