Description
Michelia chapensis, or Magnolia chapensis, seeds mature in September, an evergreen tree reaching a height of 15 – 30 m. Bark is grey or dark brown. Leaves 6.5 – 16 cm long and 3.5 – 7 cm wde.
It flowers in March, light yellow with fragrance, and fruits mature in August – September.
