MICHELIA FAIRY WHITE A relatively slow growing evergreen shrub or tree, this unusual magnolia produces ovate dark glossy green leaves velvety brown underneath and masses of attractive scented creamy white flowers in early spring. It needs a warm sunny or lightly shaded position, sheltered from cold winds, together with a free-draining neutral or acid soil.
