Description
Lodi is an early culinary apple introduced in 1924 from a cross of Yellow Transparent and Montgomery Sweet, also known as Autumn Bough. The medium fruit has yellow green skin with occasional russeting.
The soft fine grained flesh is tart and better suited to applesauce, pies, and cooking than fresh eating. Lodi ripens early in the summer.
