Description
Pruning: Prune back after flowering, or in late winter/early spring, to a strong framework of branches. Leave 2-4 buds of growth on the framework and trim to a bud facing away from the wall. Prune back overlong shoots and remove any weak or dead branches.
Cultural information: Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered position, in full sun or partial shade. Mulch or feed after pruning.
Support: Can be grown and a free-standing shrub or trained against a wall. Tie in young shoots, whilst they are still soft and flexible, onto a framework of training wires.
