Description
The use of Fiesta and/or Iron based products running through the Hypro D30 diaphragm pump tends to eat a hole through the 9910-450145 factory installed cast aluminum flange. Rittenhouse has solved this problem by designing a modified version which is made up with 3 parts. A stainless steel threaded nipple that you would attach your hose to, a stainless steel elbow that is screwed into a modifed flange that bolts directly to the pump. It seems that Fiesta and/or Iron based fertilizers do not have such an effect on stainless steel as compared to cast aluminum.
