Description
If your Hypro 1538 Centrifugal Pump is leaking between the pump and the motor, the 3430-0332 Repair Kit will fix that leak. It is your mechanical seal that is causing the leak in all likelihood. The impeller is a wearing part and replacing the impeller will improve performance. It will be obvious with a visual inspection if your impeller has worn down.
Hypro 1538 Centrifugal Pump has been used on many Rittenhouse Sprayers, including some of our de-icing machines.
Kit 3430-0332 includes:
- 1 x 2120-0009 Mechanical Viton seal
- 1 x 1720-0083 O-ring
- 1 x 1700-0100 Gasket
The 0402-9200P Impeller is a nylon impeller with a steel threaded insert that screws directly on to the threaded shaft of a gas engine.

The Hypro 1538 bolts directly onto a Honda 5.5 hp gas engine with a threaded shaft.
