Hale’s Best Jumbo is an old-time muskmelon with heavy netting, thick orange flesh, and the rich perfume that tells you summer has arrived. Found near Brawley, California in the 1920s and later named for I.D. Hale, it became a favorite for dependable flavor and sturdy garden performance.
