Spanish Lime, also known as mamoncillo or genip, is a tropical fruit native to the Caribbean. It has a round or oval shape and a thin, green skin when ripe. The flesh of the fruit is soft and is lychee’s American cousin. Inside is orange in color and has a sweet, slightly tart flavor.
