Wine-red buds opening to white & pink, butterfly-like, flowers with white stamens. Flowers are born on wiry, wispy stems that wave elegantly in the summer breeze. Dark red foliage contrasts well with other perennials. Gaura is native to the southern U.S. This variety of gaura depending on environment, exposure, etc can have blooms that are pure white, white with a hint of pink and or even a light pink tone. You never know what color bloom you will get with this variety.
