Description
Asmall bush shrub of spreading habit, the upright stems sport fine green leaves, as seen in Johns Garden. It produces small blush white and violet pruple single flowers from early summer to first frost in autumn. Requires a moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Position:Requires a rich well drained soil with plenty of moisture during the growing season.Plant in full sun or partial shade where they can be treated as summer bedding or as a hardy shrub, in which case plant early in the season protect for the first winter with a thick mulch on surface but not directly around the stem.
Pruning: Prune hard back in spring (after the frosts have passed) to promote new growth.
