Description
Originating in Ethiopia and Uganda, Dragon’s Claw Millet is also known as African Finger Millet since the seed panicles look like a hand with fingers pointing upward. This millet does surprisingly well even in my short season climate. Unlike many of the millets, Dragon’s Claw is short growing to 18″ high. The dried panicles are interesting in dried flower arrangements and the seed is also edible.
