Introduced by W. Atlee Burpee & Company in 1887, Danish Ballhead is actually a strain of the very old Danish variety called Amager. It is a great all purpose cabbage that can be used for sauerkraut, cooking or fresh in salad or coleslaw. The tasty solid heads are 5-7 pounds are great for storage. (100 days to harvest)
