Cuphea ignea, aka Cigar or firecracker plant
Dripping with flower chimes in bright cherry red and yellow displayed along its branches, ‘Cherrybells’ is an easy-care summer bloomer for pots, for it sheds its old flowers as new ones open and thrives in the heat. It plays with others nicely, too, serving as the filler in mixed containers.
