Cumin is a warm-season annual herb grown for its slender foliage, small pale flowers, and deeply aromatic seeds. The dried seed is the familiar earthy spice at the heart of chili, curries, tacos, rice dishes, roasted vegetables, and countless traditional kitchens around the world.
