Description
These Clove Currant seedlings came from Crandall, a popular selection with large tasty black fruit that is less astringent than typical Clove Currants and quite different from Black Currant. Seedlings will vary but may retain similar fruit qualities.
Clove Currant is closely related to Golden Currant and has clove scented yellow flowers in early spring. Oak Summit Nursery has bushes more than 20 years old at the farm.
