Description
Captivator is a productive American and European gooseberry hybrid with nearly thornless stems. Medium to large berries ripen from green to rich pink red in mid to late summer.
The thin skinned fruit is sweet and mildly tart and is suited to fresh eating, pies, and jam. The compact arching shrub is easier to harvest than thornier gooseberries.
