Furry Feather Calathea/ Calathea Rufibarba
DESCRIPTION-This plant has long and slender leaves with wavy edges. The underside of the foliage has a soft, furry feeling to the touch due to trichomes. The stems are a deep Burgundy purple color and with the right care might produce yellow basket like flowers.
SUN-Partial shade as direct sun will burn the plant and cause the leaves to curl
SOIL-Well draining, peat based potting mix incorporated with perlite or vermiculite.
WATERING-Best to water at least once a week and make sure the soil is dry before watering.
