Description
Brianna Grape seedlings are grown from seed collected from the named cultivar in Manitoba. They will be genetically distinct from Brianna, but some may retain similar cold hardiness, fruit, and growth traits.
Brianna was developed by Elmer Swenson in 1983 from cold hardy Vitis labrusca and Vitis riparia ancestry. The vigorous vines produce green gold grapes with tropical flavours, especially pineapple, that ripen in early to mid September. The fruit is used fresh and for juice or wine.
Cold Hardiness Zone: 3
