Description
Bee Mix Wildflowers are selected to provide a steady succession of blooms that support honeybees, native bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects throughout the growing season. The mix combines perennial favorites such as butterfly milkweed, New England aster, echinacea, lanceleaf coreopsis, gaillardia, liatris, bee balm, and perennial lupine with colorful annuals including cosmos, crimson clover, California poppy, phacelia, alyssum, and more.
Because this blend contains a higher proportion of perennial wildflowers, the planting becomes richer and more established with each passing season. Annual flowers provide much of the first year’s color while the perennial species develop deep root systems and return year after year, creating a lasting source of pollen, nectar, and habitat for pollinators.
