Baptisia ‘Lemon Meringue’ has beautiful flowers and blue-green foliage that forms a nice vase shape. In late spring to early summer, lemon yellow flowers cover the charcoal stems. The contrast between the bright flowers and dark stems is quite striking. The blue-green foliage makes a nice backdrop for the interesting flowers. The blossoms eventually give way to ornamental seed pods that extend the attraction into the fall.
