Description
Aron Purple Chokeberry is a European selection of Aronia melanocarpa with large purple black fruit and reliable production. The astringent berries ripen in late summer and are used for juice, wine, and preserves.
Glossy green leaves turn deep red to purple in fall. Plants tolerate average garden soil and wet sites.
