Description
Apple scion wood is dormant one year growth cut from named cultivars for grafting onto compatible apple rootstock or established apple trees. Each piece is about 8 inches long and 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter, with the cut ends sealed in beeswax.
The cultivar choices include apples for fresh eating, cooking, cider, preserves, pollination, and ornamental use. Fruit traits and cold hardiness vary by cultivar, so the product options provide the current selection.
