Description
- Planting:Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Actinidia kolomikta can be planted against a wall or grown as a stand-alone shrub.
- Aspect:Plant in full sun on a South or West facing wall to help develop the leaf colours. Must be sheltered from cold winds and severe frost.
- Care:Tie in main stems on to a series of horizontal wires or strong trellis. In late winter or early spring remove any crossing, diseased or overcrowded stems using sharp secateurs. Feed in spring with a slow-release fertiliser.
